Engine maintenance Currently engine maintenance is limited only to “on-airframe” tasks within the above work scope. Electrical power The following maintenance is performed under C5 rating: Scheduled inspection and maintenance of Ni-Cad and Sealed Lead-Acid batteries in accordance with the relevant airframe maintenance schedule, the battery manufacturer's service instructions and as detailed in MOE 2.24.7. 'Operational procedure for aircraft Ni-Cad and sealed Lead-Acid battery shop'.
